Team USA and Venezuela are facing off in the 2026 World Baseball Classic final at loanDepot Park in Miami.
The U.S. is making its third straight appearance in the WBC championship game and seeking its second title, while Venezuela is making its first ever appearance in the final.
A Maikel García sacrifice fly gave Venezuela the lead in the third inning before a Wilyer Abreu home run made it 2-0 in the fifth. A lifeless U.S. offense had registered just two hits until Bryce Harper hit a two-run homer in the eighth inning to tie the game.
